2011 - Construction of four classrooms funded by Airdrie Koinonia Christian School in Alberta, Canada and general donations
Background:
Pastors Tatende and Lucia Gunguwo provide leadership to the faith-based Voice of Peace Organization (VOP) in Zimbabwe. VOP oversees over 100 churches, four orphanages, a community-based care program that provides assistance to over 6000 children, and skill development programs in a wide range of areas from business to agriculture. In recent years they have realized the importance of Christian pre-school and K through 12 education. They have established a number of schools in the Harare area.
