Background:

New Covenant Community School was established in 2012 by The Evangelical Orthodox Church in Uganda (The EOCU) to address the need for quality education with Christian values. It is located in the village of Kisebere in the Bwera area of the Kasese District of Uganda, close to the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo. Present enrolment is 423 students in Kindergarten through Grade 6. Many of the students are orphans and the vast majority come from extremely poor homes.

The land on which the school is located is large enough to contain a full Primary School, and the plan is to offer all the grades as permanent classrooms are built. Apart from providing basic education, the EOCU is offering pastoral care, rural health services and vocational skills training for vulnerable and jobless youth. These services are located on land they own nearby.

The church is in partnership with Classrooms for Africa to raise funds for the school buildings for the needy and vulnerable children at New Covenant School Community.  Please support!
