The cost of building a single classroom averages around $10,000. Actual cost depends on the country and location of the school. A starter school unit, consisting of four classrooms, an office and store room, costs from $40,000 - $45,000.

Donate Your Car

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for Classrooms for Africa.  Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to Classrooms for Africa through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for Classrooms for Africa to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, our charity will send you a tax receipt and will put your gift to good use.

Received donations are acknowledged by Classrooms for Africa and at the end of the tax year receipts are issued. Donors for specific projects are kept informed as the project progresses and have the option of having their name acknowledged on the plaque mounted on the completed classroom/building.
