Kinyaminagha Junior School, Kasese, Uganda
Projects Completed:
2024 - Completion of Three-Classroom Block funded by donors from Western Canada
Background:
Kinyaminagha Junior School started in 2010 on one acre of land in Kinyaminagha village. It was started by the Kinyaminagha Catholic Church in the Diocese of Kasese as one of the activities in the lower foothills of Mt. Rwenzori.
The school was established with an aim of imparting Christian values to learners through quality education.
This licensed school offers Kindergarten through Grade Four with plans to expand through Grade Seven. When Classrooms for Africa got involved, students were learning in stick and mud temporary buildings as a three classroom block was incomplete and waiting for funds to complete.
The school also lacks furniture and an administration office, a classroom is currently being used as an office and storage area.
In 2024, the three classroom block was completed thanks to donors from Western Canada.
Thank you, donors!
