Background:

Kahokya Equator Line Nursery & Primary School is a private mixed day Catholic Founded school on two acres of land donated by Kahokya Catholic Church, Diocese of Kasese. It was established in 2011 after identifying many children vulnerable and disadvantaged as orphans, lame, deaf and those from financially humble backgrounds with a desire to provide quality education with Christian values. The school offers Kindergarten through Grade 7

The school was in semi-permanent buildings with stick and mud classrooms and they are hoping to build a total of 10 classrooms, and Admin/Office space and latrines. The first permanent three classroom block was completed in 2023 thanks to donors from Western Canada.
