St. Francis Classrooms Await Eager Students
The first four permanent classrooms at St. Francis Primary School in Uganda are now ready ahead of time for the beginning of the 2016 school year later this month. The project leaders have worked hard at producing classrooms to be proud of and which will be used by eager students and teachers who up until now have had their school lessons in temporary wood and grass shelters with dirt floors and open to the elements. This new secure facility is the first block to be built will house the youngest students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade One. One of the rooms will act as a temporary office for the administration until more permanent rooms are built. Many grateful thanks to the donors from Canada who have reached out to these impoverished children and provided new hope for their future.
